Depending on your Dad's tastes, I have put together some certain groups and have included some of the most popular or latest edition now on sale.
How about we start out with books. Have a look around the house and see what his favorite author is and check and see if a new book from that author has just come out. I just bought my husband a Kindle for his birthday and he absolutely loves it, then your Dad can down load his books of choice. If you have a little more money think about getting the iPad, it does nearly everything.
Music is a great gift, everyone likes music, but don't get the gift voucher actually buy the CD. There are so many new Albums coming out just before Christmas and some of them are really good.
DVD's are always great gifts, think about what your Dad's favorite TV show is and get his the past seasons shows. Think about "Two and Half Men" or "30 Rock" or "The Big Bang" maybe "The Office" most of these show have just bought out the previous seasons show for the Christmas gifts.
Cell phones are getting better all the time, with the new Driod out; it may be time for an upgrade.
Secretly Dad's like health products, so think about skin care products, a new shaver with some nice aftershave. Multivitamins are always needed, and there are some really nice electric toothbrush kits. Rogaine is very useful for the Dad's that are losing their hair. Health books for whatever age group your Dad fits into.
Sports gifts, depending on what sports your Dad is interested in, the ideas are unlimited.
There are so many games to choose from, the new Xbox 360 Kinect ids due out in November, this will be so much fun for all the family to play with. This is a hands free controller, motion detected games. There will be in demand this Christmas, so I would recommend getting in early for the Xbox Kinect.
